Las Vegas hosted the NBA All Star Game in 2007 at the Thomas & Mack with Kobe Bryant being the MVP. The Men US Olympic teams from 2008 & 2012 trained in Las Vegas. Kareem Abdul Jabbar broke Wilt Chamberlain's scoring record at Thomas & Mack in Las Vegas (1984).
